Data Engineer

A startup company in the Creative Technology sector, developing and delivering content for creators by building and operating several subscription-based platforms for digital assets. The company's strategy focuses on providing comprehensive solutions to content creators worldwide, regardless of their professional level or the type of content they seek. This includes video editors, social media influencers, and YouTube creators, who have become the company's rapidly growing target audience.

The company has revolutionized the digital media licensing industry by creating a unique subscription model with unlimited licensing, allowing clients to benefit from exclusive content without limitations, while maintaining uncompromising media quality.

The company is based in Tel Aviv, near a light rail station, and offers a hybrid work model. It has approximately 420 employees globally, 300 of which are in Israel, and serves over 20 million clients worldwide.

Role Description: The role is part of a team developing the company's data infrastructure. The team consists of six developers and reports to the team leader.

Tech Stack: Python, Airflow, AWS, Snowflake, Spark, Redis, Kafka.

Requirements:

• 4 years of experience in data engineering or backend engineering roles
• Proven experience in designing and building real-time events platform solution
• Strong knowledge of backend programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or similar
• Deep knowledge and strong experience deploying distributed data technologies and systems
• Strong and proven knowledge of working with data lakes, lakehouses, and data warehouses in the cloud
• Strong experience with ETL/ELT processes, data ingestion, data transformation, data modeling, and monitoring.
