System Administrator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced System Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing and supporting various Linux-based systems and infrastructure within our organization.

Requirements:

• In-depth experience with Linux OS: Installation of third-party products on Linux operating systems, disk management (adding/removing disks), SAMBA, troubleshooting OS issues, and managing user and group permissions in Linux.
• Previous experience managing Linux systems/servers is essential.
• Knowledge of Active Directory (AD).
• Experience with virtualization solutions: vSphere, ESXi – mandatory.
• Familiarity with cloud solutions: Kubernetes, Docker Containers, and Tanzu.
• Storage solutions knowledge: Experience with SAN storage, preferably in Linux environments.
• Experience with automation tools and programming languages: such as Ansible and Python – advantage.
• Familiarity with networking and communication protocols is a plus.
• Proven experience managing Linux systems in server environments, including NIS, NFS, LDAP, SSSD, and Kerberos. Experience with centralized storage solutions (e.g., NETAPP or DELL).
• Script writing skills: Proficiency with OS and communication monitoring tools.
• Experience with network products: switches and routers (L2, L3).
• Knowledge of security certificates and their installation on Linux systems.
• Experience in cybersecurity: Routing (L3), hardening Linux systems.
• Experience with Tomcat/JBOSS/WAS environments: Basic management of at least one of these.
• Experience with cloud environments: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud is an advantage.
• IBM AIX familiarity is a plus.
