Job Description
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing sales teams, leadership capabilities, a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, identification and leveraging of business opportunities, implementation of the product strategic plan in the field, and the ability to motivate, develop, and guide a high-performing sales team to achieve sales goals and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management:
- Lead, mentor, coach and support a team of sales representatives to meet and exceed sales and KPIs targets.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development.
- Foster a collaborative, positive, and high-energy team environment.
- .
- Establish sales targets and KPIs, based on the product strategic plan, for individual team members and monitor progress toward achieving them.
- Provide ongoing training to sales representatives on product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry regulations.
- Ensure that the sales team remains compliant with JNJ Israel standards and regulations.
- Organize regular team meetings, workshops, and coaching sessions to keep the team professional, motivated and informed.
- Work with team members to build and maintain long-term relationships with healthcare professionals, , and other stakeholders.
- Address and resolve any customer concerns or issues that arise.
- Use data to assess sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and recommend adjustments to sales tactics.
- Be part of the CVT (Core Value Team) – a strategic team that leads the product from strategy plan to implementation
- Work closely with the Product manager, Medical manager and Digital manager to ensure seamless execution of promotional activities and product launches.
- Collaborate with other functions in the organization to ensure a unified approach to market challenges and opportunities
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field
- Proven experience in a sales management role, with at least 3-5 years in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical products, industry regulations, and market dynamics.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM tools.
- Travel may be required for customer visits and regional meetings.
