VP Operations

ART MEDICAL is a well-funded medical startup transforming ICU care through advanced technology and innovation. Our smART+™ platform is an intelligent, sensor-based solution that optimizes nutrition delivery while reducing the risks of ventilator-associated pneumonia and malnutrition. Supported by clinical trials, we are setting a new standard in critical care by achieving nearly 100% feeding efficiency and reducing ICU stays by an average of 3.3 days.

We are seeking an experienced VP Operations with a passion for medical device innovation to join us.

In this role you will:

• Provide strategic leadership in all manufacturing and production processes and projects, including organization-wide production plan development and execution.
• Oversee Supply Chain Management, including outsourcing of implant/instrument components and processes as appropriate, in close coordination with Quality.
• Sourcing of components and Bill of Materials strategy development.
• Development and implementation of manufacturing processes for all disposable and capital equipment.
• Integration of new products into the production environment, including process development.
• Develop and execute overall manufacturing and scale-up strategy, with a focus on efficiency and cost.
• Develop and execute budgets and operating plans for manufacturing, process, facilities, and engineering staff and projects.
• Participate in development and administration of company policies, long range goals, and objectives.
• Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with other key leaders in R&D, Finance, QA.
  
  

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant Engineering /Manufacturing discipline or equivalent qualification.
• 5+ years of management experience in at least two of the following: procurement/ IT/ production/ engineering, within the medical device industry.
• Team management and team work capabilities.
• Ability to independently work on several tasks in parallel.
• Ability to define goals and priorities in a situation of uncertainty and continuously changing environment.
• High communication and writing skills in English.
