Principal Backend Engineer – Cloud & Infrastructure
We’re looking for Principal Backend Engineer – Cloud & Infrastructure for an early-stage startup as part of the core team. This is a unique opportunity to shape the backend architecture, build scalable cloud infrastructure from the ground up, and directly impact our technology and product.
What You’ll Do:
- Design, develop, and optimize high-scale cloud-based backend systems.
- Lead architectural decisions and best practices for backend and infrastructure development.
- Work closely with DevOps, security, and product teams to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Develop and maintain services
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation processes.
- Troubleshoot complex system issues and optimize performance.
What We’re Looking For:
- 6+ years of backend development experience.
- Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP).
- Proven experience developing in Go or Node.js – a must!
- Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and containerized environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building scalable systems.
