A Junior Social Media Associate

Literally Media’s beloved and well-known staple site Cheezburger, is looking for a creative and passionate Social Media Associate, to join our Israeli office in Herzliya, on a full-time basis. Cheezburger includes various iconic brands like Fail Blog, ICanHasCheezburger, Memebase, and Geek Universe.

The role’s Overview:

You will be responsible for executing social media strategies that increase our brand’s awareness, following, engagement, and traffic across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, and TikTok. This is an excellent opportunity to join Literally Media during a time of exciting growth, gain experience in an international setting, and work with rapidly growing social media assets with millions of followers.

What will you actually be doing?

• Browsing media resources to seek and capture content that aligns with our social media strategies.
• Engaging with our social media community by responding to comments and DMs.
• Planning, coordinating, and participating in TikTok shooting days.
• Writing and pitching copy, jokes, and trends.
• Collaborating in brainstorming sessions with the social media team to develop original content.
• Hunting for new creators and potential collaborators to cultivate strong relationships.
• Video editing.
  
  

• A very high-level of English- mandatory.
• Great sense of humor and creativity (familiarity with U.S. meme culture is a plus).
• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new digital platforms.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and accountable.
• Video editing knowledge- an advantage.
• B.A. in Business Administration/ Marketing/ Communications/ Film- an advantage.
