Technical Product Manager

Built on the success of our popular open-source project, fastdup (with over 500,000 installations!), Visual Layer’s solution leverages a proprietary graph engine designed for large-scale graph analytics and search. Our cutting-edge platform empowers organizations in government, defense, and Fortune 500 enterprises to unlock insights, manage, and explore massive volumes of visual data like never before.

We are seeking a Technical Product Manager to join our team. In this role, you will focus on understanding customer needs, defining product features, and driving the product development lifecycle.You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our solutions meet market demands and provide exceptional value to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Define product requirements and create detailed user stories that articulate customer needs and business objectives.
• Work closely with engineering teams to translate product requirements into technical specifications.
• Lead technical discussions and participate in design reviews to ensure feasibility and alignment with product goals.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive user interfaces and seamless user experiences.
• Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
• Work closely with engineering, pre-sales, and customer support teams to ensure successful product development and launch.
• Facilitate communication between teams to align on product goals and timelines.
• Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the product development process from concept to launch, ensuring that timelines and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in product management or related roles, preferably with data analytics capabilities.
• Proven experience in translating customer requirements into functional product requirements.

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with database concepts, network background an advantage.
• Proficiency in agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Strong analytical skills and a customer-centric mindset, with a focus on delivering value
