Collections Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Collections Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and collecting outstanding debts owed to the company. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts.
• Investigate historical data for each debt or bill.
• Find and contact clients to ask about their overdue payments.
• Handle questions or complaints from clients.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Create trust relationships with debtors to avoid future issues.
• Update account status and database regularly.
• Escalate and alert to management when necessary.
• Involve the legal department when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Collections Specialist or similar role.
• Knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques.
• Familiarity with banking systems for investigation purposes.
• Comfortable working with targets.
• Excellent English communication and negotiation skills.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to details.

Work Environment:

• Hybrid model on a 3 days basis from the office in TLV.
• Occasional extended hours may be required to meet deadlines.
• Work in close collaboration with team members in Canada (EST time zone).
