Role Description

We are looking for a full-stack engineer with a frontend orientation to join our R&D team at C8 Health. You'll play a crucial role in advancing our team collaboration platform, essential for healthcare professionals in their life-saving efforts. This opportunity allows you to be instrumental in implementing core features, enhancing user interfaces, and crafting innovative solutions using cutting-edge technologies.

We are searching for a team player, eager to enhance their skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will primarily focus on frontend development, building complex user interfaces with a dedicated user experience for care providers. While frontend development is the core focus, you’ll also engage with backend tasks as needed. You'll work with technologies such as React, React Native, React Hooks, Redux, and state management, alongside Node.js, MongoDB, Redis, Pub/Sub, Gen AI, and GCP.

We’re looking for a passionate frontend oriented full-stack engineer who enjoys building impactful products used by thousands of healthcare providers. You'll deliver scalable, high-quality solutions with a delightful user experience, tackling challenges in UI/UX, complex search, scalability, and clean code. Beyond coding, you'll refine processes, adopt new technologies, and drive innovation to improve our products continuously.

What you’ll do:

• Develop and enhance our platform’s web, mobile, and widget frontends using React and React Native, ensuring a seamless and efficient user experience.
• Lead and contribute to architectural decisions, performance optimizations, and scalability improvements in high-demand healthcare environments.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate complex requirements into intuitive, high-performance interfaces.
• Optimize front-end performance for diverse healthcare settings, ensuring speed, reliability, and usability across various devices and conditions.
• Leverage AI tools (where applicable) to enhance development efficiency, automate repetitive tasks, and improve UI/UX capabilities.

What you bring:

• 5+ years of experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on building intuitive and responsive user interfaces.
• Proven experience leading front-end projects from concept to production, including architectural decisions and performance optimization.
• Deep expertise in frontend technologies, particularly React and React Native, and familiarity with backend integrations using Node.js and databases like MongoDB.
• Strong understanding of front-end testing methodologies, including unit, integration, and UI/UX testing, ensuring robust and reliable applications.
• Experience with cloud services, particularly GCP, and deploying frontend applications in a cloud environment, ensuring scalability and performance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously, estimating effort accurately and managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Bonus: Experience leveraging AI tools (such as AI-assisted coding, automated testing, or AI-driven UI improvements) to streamline development workflows.
