Role Description

Procurement Group Manager

Leading a team of buyers with full responsibility for the company's end-to-end purchasing performance, including Direct, Indirect, and CapEx. The position reports directly to the VP of Supply Chain and indirectly to the global procurement organization and is part of the company's extended management team

Managing the company's procurement group – leading a team of buyers to provide excellent service and meet purchasing targets, including guidance, mentoring, and human resource development.

Developing, leading, and implementing the procurement strategy and defining purchasing policies.

Partnering with internal stakeholders to define clear and structured requirements to ensure optimal supplier solutions under the best terms for the company.

Leading cost analysis in various scenarios and conducting benchmarking.

Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation actions in collaboration with the legal team.

Identifying and establishing partnerships with strategic suppliers.

Leading the development of efficient work processes with key interfaces, with an emphasis on production planning, logistics, and finance.

Leading the annual budgeting process for material pricing and company expenses.

Managing tenders and negotiations, framework agreements, and legal and commercial agreements with strategic suppliers.

Collaborating with global functions and representing the company to the parent company.

Driving cost-saving initiatives and process efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Engineering / Sciences – Mandatory

At least 3 years of managerial experience in procurement – Mandatory

Experience in supplier management, sourcing, negotiation, and legal agreements – Mandatory

Experience working in global companies – Advantage

Experience in the pharmaceutical industry – Advantage

High-level English proficiency – Mandatory

Strong analytical and decision-making skills

Excellent interpersonal skills
