Senior Data Scientist

This role involves developing and implementing advanced analytics, machine learning models, and optimization algorithms to enhance core product offerings. You will collaborate with various teams to solve complex problems and drive data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve machine learning models for forecasting, inventory optimization, and product comparisons.
• Design and implement algorithms to enhance retail and supply chain decision-making.
• Extract actionable insights from large datasets to increase business value.
• Partner with data engineers to create scalable data pipelines and deploy production-ready models.
• Clearly communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Stay current with advancements in AI, machine learning, and optimization.
  
  

• Master's or Ph.D. in a relevant quantitative field (Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research).
• 5+ years of data science, machine learning, or AI experience, ideally within retail or supply chain.
• Strong Python skills and experience with relevant libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Expertise in predictive modeling, time series forecasting, and optimization.
• SQL proficiency.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and deploying machine learning models.
• Ability to translate business challenges into data-driven solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  
  

• Reinforcement learning experience.
• Background in retail analytics, supply chain optimization, or revenue management.
• Experience with big data technologies and ETL processes (Spark, S3, Kafka).
