Financial Controller

tomorrow.io's Accounting and Finance Team supports all teams globally with relevant and timely financial data in order to make informed business decisions. We interact with each team at tomorrow.io and provide support across all business units, focused on tracking key metrics to drive the Company forward.

We are seeking a highly motivated, hands-on Financial Controller with a proven track record of driving success in high-growth startups. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Israeli GAAP accounting, as well as experience in payroll, auditing, and taxes, with familiarity in NetSuite.

In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day financial operations of our Israel subsidiary and play a key role in scaling our business as we continue our rapid growth.

What you'll do:

• Monthly Close (MEC): Collaborate with external bookkeepers and ensure all monthly transactions are accurately recorded.
• Payroll: Collaborate with an external payroll controller to manage payroll operations.
• Financial Consolidation: Prepare and coordinate monthly financial statements for consolidation.
• Tax & Compliance: Lead the annual Israel statutory audit and tax return process.
• Accounts Payable (AP): Manage vendor payments and ensure timely processing.
• Accounts Receivable (AR): Handle invoicing for the Israel entity.
• Process Improvement & Automation: Evaluate current accounting operations, recommend improvements, and implement automation to enhance efficiency.

What It Takes:

• CPA
• 1+ years of accounting experience in a software/SaaS business or supervisor / Manager from a Big 4 firm .
• Knowledge of US GAAP and IL GAAP required
• Experience in developing and improving financial systems which produce useful operating metrics
• Hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
• Better than average conversational English; comfortable with the language in a business setting both orally and in writing
  
  

Bonus Points: Public accounting experience, Experience working in Netsuite, Payroll processing experience.
