Senior Chip Architect

We seek an experienced Senior Chip Architect for a global leader in wireless and cellular communication technology, specializing in advanced, intelligent solutions for 5G, 6G, and radar systems.

With a strong focus on VLSI engineering and architecture, it develops cutting-edge products that set the standard in high-performance, next-generation connectivity solutions. This is an organization where innovation meets precision, driving advancements in mobile broadband technology worldwide.

As a Senior Chip Architect, you’ll be at the forefront of architecting state-of-the-art wireless modems for the next generation of cellular solutions, driving innovations that set the industry standard.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the architecture and design of advanced cellular modem components and platforms.

- Oversee the entire VLSI development flow from design conception to product delivery.

- Define and develop hardware architecture, including SoC and hardware blocks for wireless communication.

- Lead and manage both design and verification teams, ensuring quality and scalability throughout the development process.

- Collaborate with a cross-functional team of 60 professionals in Software, VLSI, and Algorithms to execute and implement complex solutions.

- Serve as a key figure in decision-making, driving new technological advancements and product improvements.

Requirements:

- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in VLSI, SoC architecture, and design.

- Proven experience in managing design and verification teams through a full-scale VLSI or SoC development cycle.

- Solid understanding of wireless baseband processing; familiarity with wireless communication protocols and algorithms is a plus.

- Background in cellular hardware development and baseband SoC is preferred.

- Strong leadership and communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.
