DataWave LTD is an AD-Tech startup specializing in digital advertising and media. We run large-scale, data-driven ad campaigns using cutting-edge technologies like cloud computing, AI, and advanced algorithms.

We’re looking for a Head of R&D with startup experience to take full ownership of our technology, design scalable systems, and build the foundation for future growth. You’ll manage one developer initially and scale the team as the company grows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hands-On Development: Code, debug, and design system architecture daily.
• Scalable Tech Solutions: Build and implement advanced, high-scale infrastructure.
• Cloud & DevOps: Develop and maintain cloud-based architectures.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a developer, with room for team expansion.
• Product & Tech Growth: Optimize our media and advertising technologies.
• Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with leadership to align tech with business goals.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of hands-on development experience.
• Proven startup experience – ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Leadership & mentoring skills.
• Strong technical expertise: Node.js, TypeScript, Nest.js, cloud technologies, DevOps.
• Experience with scalable architecture design.
• Advertising/Media experience – a strong advantage.
• High-level English proficiency.
