Job Description

We are looking for a Technical Manager with a can-do approach to Join our R&D and Engineering division, In this role you will take a major part in leading the development of SpearUAV systems and will be involved in all the development stages, end-to-end, including the concept phase, system development, integration and evaluation, moving the system to serial production, delivery the system to the end user and implementing the system in the field.

Responsibilities:

• Synchronizing the activities of all disciplines which are involved in the project.
• Building, executing, and following up the project workplan.
• Taking corrective actions to ensure projects meet the required delivers on time and with the required quality.
• Planning, leading, and executing the system test plans along all the system development stages: proof of concept tests, integration, field tests, qualification tests etc.
• Supporting all disciplines in identifying and managing subcontractors.
• Leading and executing the technological part for project reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, etc.)

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Aeronautical Engineering (M.Sc. - advantage).
• At least three years of experience in managing technological projects (relevant experience from the defense industry - advantage)
• 5 years of relevant experience in developing multidisciplinary systems, based on software, hardware and mechanics, from the concept stage up to serial production phase
• Self-motivated “soul player”, with a can-do and practical approach.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and capability to harness employees on a matrix organizational structure to achieve project goals.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel in a dynamic environment and to meet tough goals.
• Demonstrated experience in planning ahead and to meet milestones and required deliverables as derived from a workplan.
• Familiarity with preparing and presenting technical reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, etc.)
• Methodological and organized.
• Hands-on approach, skills, and capabilities.
