About the Role

As a Full Stack Developer, you will be instrumental in building state-of-the-art products that empower medical professionals to enhance ultrasound diagnostics. Your work will directly improve patient care and medical training by delivering robust, scalable, and AI-powered solutions.

You will collaborate closely with AI engineers, medical experts, and developers to create intuitive user interfaces and high-performance backend systems. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of projects, and finds innovative solutions to complex healthcare challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance applications for SimHawk’s AI-powered ultrasound simulation platform.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices to ensure seamless integration and data flow.
• Build intuitive and responsive frontend user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
• Optimize SQL-based databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) for efficiency and reliability.
• Ensure system security, reliability, and compliance with healthcare industry standards (HIPAA, FDA, etc.).
• Work closely with medical professionals, AI engineers, and software developers to refine platform features.
• Troubleshoot issues, enhance system performance, and develop innovative solutions.
• Proactively communicate, define project scopes, break down tasks, and effectively manage risks.

What we're looking for

We are searching for a talented and driven Full Stack Developer who is eager to work on impactful AI healthcare solutions. The ideal candidate will have:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field – a must!
• 2+ years of experience in full-stack development.
• Strong backend development skills with Python (Django, Flask, or FastAPI).
• Frontend expertise in React, Vue, or Angular with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with SQL-based databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Linux environments.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
• Passion for AI-driven healthcare solutions and medical imaging technologies.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

While not required, experience in the following areas would be an advantage:

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
• Familiarity with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) for asynchronous processing.
• Background in medical imaging, AI-driven diagnostics, or ultrasound technologies.
