Job Description:

The Abraham Initiatives seeks a committed, passionate individual to serve as Israel Development Director on its Resource Development Team. The Israel Development Director will report to, and work in close collaboration with, the International Development Director to develop and significantly expand The Abraham Initiatives’ fundraising campaign in Israel among representatives of international funders based in Israel as well as Israeli foundations, private donors, corporations, government ministries, foreign governments, and European funders. The Israel Development Director will supervise the work of Resource Development staff based in Israel and work closely with team members abroad.

Location: Israel

Responsibilities:

• Expand Israel, foreign government, and European fundraising campaigns - both in total income and number of donors
• Steward current file
• Serve as on-the-ground resource for resource development based abroad
• Plan and execute field visits and presentations for donors and prospects
• Manage data and information
• Supervise Israel-based Resource Development staff members

An Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

• Commitment to The Abraham Initiative’s mission
• 5-7 years relevant work experience
• Experience with representatives of international funders based in Israel as well as Israeli foundations, private donors, corporations, and government ministries
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work well with colleagues, donors, lay leaders, and community partners
• Attention to detail
• Comfort working independently and meeting deadlines
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment
• Comfort, patience, and enthusiasm working across cultures and time zones
• CRM experience
• Excellent English and Hebrew language skills
• Arabic language skills a plus
•  Graphic design skills a plus
