Assistant It Manager

Job Description:

Providing service and support to faculty users in the fields of computing and communications. Support for Linux, Windows, and Mac operating systems. Installation, maintenance, and operation of computer equipment and peripherals for PC computers, servers, storage arrays, and related equipment. Maintenance of building control systems. Handling and maintenance of scanners, printers, projectors, and more. Support and consulting for faculty staff on computing, information systems, and information security issues. Assistance in computer equipment purchasing. Performing additional tasks as needed.

• Academic degree/Engineering diploma/Technician/Graduate with relevant education
• Extensive experience in maintenance/support of organizational network computing systems and peripheral equipment
• Knowledge of Windows infrastructure work environments
• Excellent command of Hebrew and English
• Ability and willingness to learn independently
• High capacity for teamwork and independent work
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Experience working with information security procedures

• Familiarity with website building and content editing
• Training and certification in Microsoft technologies
• Knowledge of Linux systems
• Knowledge of Azure, Active Directory, and scripting (PowerShell, Bash)
• Experience in operating and maintaining servers and server operating systems
• Experience managing multi-computer networks
