Product QA Test Lead

Job Description:

Product QA Test Lead will work with a diverse team of testers to ensure an exceptional user experience for our consumers. This role is critical in shaping the quality of the product and demands a strong focus on the end-user perspective. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional who can empathize with end users, identify functional and usability issues, validate product's functionality and uphold product excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute real-world test plans based on PRD
• Validate functionality, connectivity, firmware updates, and OS compatibility
• Simulate real-world usage to identify limitations and usability issues
• Ensure ease of use and overall user satisfaction across hardware, software, and apps
• Advocate for end users by communicating usability concerns to stakeholders
• Promote a user-centric QA culture
• Lead and mentor testers in manual, automation, and usability testing
• Assign tasks, track progress, and ensure timely test execution
• Collaborate with designers and product managers on improvements
• Oversee test coverage, defect tracking, and reporting
• Ensure efficient issue resolution with actionable feedback
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Product QA, with a focus on user-centric testing
• Demonstrated experience in leading teams of testers
• Experience in testing of mobile applications (iOS and Android)
• Knowledge of principles and methods of usability testing
• Familiarity with testing tools and defect tracking systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in scripting for automation (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
