System Administrator Wanted

Responsibilities:

IT Systems Management:

• Manage Windows-based environments, including Active Directory, GPO, and workstation support.
• Maintain Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, etc.).
• Install and maintain Linux servers (Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat) for various purposes.
• Manage VMware virtualization environments.
• Maintain backup systems (BackupExec) for data integrity.

Data Storage Management:

• NetApp storage, ensuring performance, capacity, and security.

Security & Networking:

• Implement security protocols per company policies.
• Manage communication infrastructure, including telephony, internal networks, and VPN solutions.
• Operate switches and ensure network stability.
• Understand networking protocols and IP addressing for troubleshooting and planning.

Helpdesk:

• Provide IT support for employees across diverse environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in real time.

Process Improvement:

• Identify and implement opportunities for system enhancements and new technologies.

Licensing & Inventory:

• Manage software licenses and renewals.
• Track IT equipment inventory and plan procurement as needed.

Requirements:

• 4-5 years of experience as a System Administrator in a small organization.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 user management and troubleshooting.
• Experience with VMware, Linux servers, and NetApp Storage.
• Familiarity with BackupExec or similar backup solutions.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, networking, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a service-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
