Supplier Quality Engineer - Freelancer role

Due to constant growth, PQE is looking for a new Supplier Quality Engineer to support out projects in Israel.

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide timely business support for the Quality Management function.
• Lead, develop, and implement supplier/purchasing controls, including Approved Supplier List management.
• Collaborate with suppliers and business partners to ensure robust materials, products, processes, and systems.
• Work with cross-functional teams to investigate, resolve, and prevent supplier-related issues, ensuring seamless business operations.
• Identify areas of improvement, communicate supplier risks, and drive supplier quality issue resolution.
• Manage changes, including impact assessment, approval, and qualification of materials/suppliers.
• Analyze quality data, lead discussions, and drive resolutions to optimize supplier performance.
• Partner with operations teams on process/product improvement projects.
• Prepare Supplier Quality Agreements and facilitate discussions with suppliers.
• Develop and implement a Quality Risk Management process for supplier-related matters.
• Understand customer needs and provide tailored metric information aligned with business goals.

About You:

• 3-5 years of experience in Quality, Engineering, or related fields.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Expertise in root cause analysis.
• Previous experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as a freelancer.
