The Identity and Network Access team is searching for software engineers across all disciplines, who can define, build, and evolve heavily integrated platforms at scale. Microsoft Entra Private Access protects access to private networks of the organization and gives access to the relevant employees from any network or device.

By granting organizations the authority to set precise policies for specific applications, we substantially diminish the risk of unauthorized access to valuable organizational resources.

Responsibilities

This is a broad cross-team role with high visibility. You will collaborate closely with multiple teams across Microsoft to deliver key customer solutions and the technology to support them.

• Design and implementation of the future architecture for highly scalable, durable, low latency systems.
• Build an effective and agile development organization using industry leading best practices.
• Work on requirements, KPIs, priorities and planning of engineering deliverables.
• Foster team culture by collaborating and communicating effectively with colleagues to achieve great results.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development with OOP principles, using C# or Java.
• Proven experience in designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems that support rapid growth.
• Strong technical leadership with experience in high-performing, agile teams.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and contribute effectively within a group.
• Ability to drive and implement changes across multiple teams.
• Expertise in modern continuous delivery and deployment systems.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience developing in C++.
• Knowledge of network stack and experience in developing network proxies.
