Art Director for a Gaming Studio

We're Hiring: Art Director – Shape the Future of Our Game! 🎮🎨

We're a passionate game studio developing a 3D game for PC and consoles, and we’re looking for an Art Director to help define and execute our artistic vision. This is a key leadership role where you'll work closely with multiple departments, guiding the look, feel & motion of the game while collaborating within a structured creative process.

What You’ll Do:

-Define and guide the game’s artistic direction, ensuring consistency and high-quality visuals.

-Collaborate closely with artists, designers and developers to integrate art and animation seamlessly into gameplay

-Oversee and provide feedback on characters, environments, UI, VFX, and animation.

-Ensure animation quality aligns with the artistic vision, especially timing, posing, and interpolation.

-Support and mentor the art & animation teams, refining workflows and maintaining efficiency.

What We’re Looking For:

✅ 5+ years of experience in game art, with a strong portfolio showcasing 3D environments, characters, and world-building.

✅ Proficiency in Blender, Maya, Substance, Photoshop, and Unity/Unreal.

✅ Deep understanding of lighting, composition, and storytelling through art & animation.

✅ Strong grasp of animation principles, including timing, posing, and interpolation.

✅ Experience providing artistic feedback on art & animation to ensure visual consistency.

✅ Great communication & leadership skills to collaborate across teams.

✅ Experience mentoring artists and animators and fostering a strong creative environment.
