As an Inland Operations agent you work proactively to ensure the smooth running of the transport process, both towards our carriers and towards our internal colleagues who have direct contact with our customers.

Summary

• You coordinate the supply and demand of our transports as optimally as possible every day.
• Landside Operations Execution includes roles that manage and operate landside transport modalities, such as truck or rail transport of cargo/containers.
• You collect data for the most complete possible estimate of the capacity in our transport planning system.
• You check our suppliers for timely delivery and, if necessary, step in for our customers to ensure the customer experience is as good as possible.
• You take the lead in communicating with other departments to improve processes and anticipate problems.
  
  

Your day to day

Every day you enter the building with a big smile. Yesterday was a hectic day, but you still managed to get a container full of new shoes to the location on time. The customer is very happy with your action because now the six-day shoe event can continue. Today a Teams call is on the agenda with colleagues from customer service department. Hopefully you can come up with a solution together for the deliveries of coffee to Tel Aviv. Oh yes, this afternoon the internal meeting with direct colleagues to discuss and implement new ideas. How about a new report to improve on-time deliveries? Before you know it, the day is over and you have been able to save a lot of transports and satisfied customers. You go home with a smile 😊

We are looking for someone who:

• Proactive, dynamic, and organised person who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and support.
• Strong process-oriented approach to work, with excellent attention to detail and high level of commitment.
• Collaboration skills/team player and the ability to multi-task at a high level.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to ensure high-level communication with key stakeholders and internal team members.
• Service delivers according to customer needs and continuously strives to provide service to exceed needs.
• Has knowledge of shipping and transport planning.
• Fluent in Hebrew and English.
• An open mind to the opinions of others.
• Looking for alternatives if the first answer is negative.
• Think outside the box looking for new ideas.
• Knowledge of Excel, PowerBI.
