Linux System Administrator

Experience Required: 5-6 years in system administration

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Linux System Administration: Extensive hands-on experience in managing and maintaining Linux systems.
• Scripting: Proficiency in scripting using Bash and/or Python.
• Configuration Management: Experience with tools like Ansible, Puppet, and CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins.
• Troubleshooting:
• Proven ability to troubleshoot Linux and virtualization environments.
• Expertise in identifying, resolving, and solving system issues across multiple layers.
• Virtualization: Hands-on experience with KVM, VMware, and Hyper-V platforms.
• Core Services: In-depth knowledge of core Linux and Windows services like DHCP, DNS, NIS, and Active Directory (AD).
• Networking: Comprehensive understanding of Layer 2 (L2) and Layer 3 (L3) network protocols.
• Monitoring Solutions: Experience with tools such as Icinga and Zabbix.
• Data Centers: Previous experience supporting large-scale and complex data center environments.

• Ability to troubleshoot issues across bare metal, operating systems, software stacks, and applications.
• Self-learner with a strong ability to share knowledge.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
