International Salesperson
The company is a global well established trading company with strong affinity to the defense industry.
We are looking for an Excellent International Salesperson to join our sales team.
The international salesperson will be responsible for driving revenue growth by managing relationships with existing clients and proactively reaching out to new clients in global markets. This role combines sales expertise with a deep understanding of international markets and cultural dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management - maintain and nurture relationships with existing international clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty, identify sales opportunities within the existing client base.
- New Client Acquisition: Research and identify potential new clients in target international markets, develop and execute outreach strategies to engage new clients, including cold calling, E-mails, networking etc.
- Sales Strategy Implementation: Set and achieve sales targets and objectives for both existing and new client categories.
- Leading long and methodological large deals, in which the order of the steps must be maintained to build a solid foundation for closing the deal.
- Handling financial aspects of the deal – flow, budget, profit and loss, interest rates, currency conversions, etc.
- Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate sales agreements, handling legal paperwork like contracts, exclusivity documents, confidentiality agreements; close sales deals efficiently while ensuring client satisfaction.
- Compliance and regulations – handling approvals, standards, licenses, compliance with relevant regulations.
- Market Research and Analysis: Stay updated on industry developments and changing customer needs.
- Products Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s products, provide clients with relevant product information and demonstrate how offerings meet their needs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery and fulfilment of client orders.
- Reporting and Analytics: Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management, monitor sales performance metrics and adjust strategies based on data-driven insights.
- Travel: Travel internationally as needed to meet with clients, attend trade shows, and explore new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5 – 7 years of proven experience in international sales.
- Experience managing existing client relationships as well as acquiring new clients.
- Experience in trading companies - big advantage.
- Experience with compliance and regulations .
- Experience in security, chemical industries – Big advantage
- Proven experience with ERP Priority – A must
- English - High level/Mother tongue level – A Must, other languages – an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, International Relations, or a related field.
- Willingness to work intensively, diligence and perseverance.
- Willingness to travel abroad for meetings with clients, exhibitions and conferences

- Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities, representative.
- Ability to perform mathematical operations (profit and loss, interest rates, currency conversions, etc.)
- Understanding of diverse cultures and business practices, ability to adapt sales techniques to various international environments.
- Self-motivated and results oriented, proactive, initiative.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently while being team player, working collaboratively in a team setting, service oriented.
- Reliable, energetic, determined.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment, to deal with uncertainty, “juggler”
