Senior Engineering Build Manager

We are seeking a Sr, Engineering Build Manager who is passionate about working on products that enable deep learning as part of the NVLINK portfolio. Our team manages the NVLINK NPI planning and supply chain for engineering activities and early shipments to customers. Our team can supports all these engineering planning and execution activities by engaging with the engineering team, material suppliers, Operations team, and the PCB manufacturing team. All the parties need to be kept aligned while engineering keeps changing either the material sets or the process.

We are looking for someone can work in a dynamic and fast-changing environment, someone who enjoys working on groundbreaking technology and enjoy working with people to take on problems. As an Engineering Build Manager, you are able to see both the high-level view and be proficient in tracking and following up on detail whether it is an existing product that requires new qualifications or a ground up new product. We will expect you to understand technical detail and be able to translate that into program impact.

What You'll Be Doing

• Responsible for E2E operational aspects - starting from planning and ending by shipment to end customer
• Set projects in the system, collect demand based on maturity level and strategy, set build plan to meet the program timeline and enforce SOL mindset
• In the execution area you will be responsible to ensure CEM readiness, manage POs, ensure inventory accuracy and shipments just in time
• Multiple interfaces with CMs and NVIDIA internal team (R&D, Operations, Sales)
• Real time-solving problem of unknown engineering issues in production line
• Drive CMs to excellent engineering readiness and management
• Communicate with other team members and suppliers to get project details.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements, diverse project needs, and tight timelines.
  
  

• B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering, Mechanics or Electronics Engineer or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in managing technological projects with multiple interfaces.
• Communication skills - highlight the major topics, set clear executive summaries.
• CMs' management – an advantage.
• Sharp thinking and good decision-making skills.
• Independent & capable to lead tasks from beginning to closure.
• Performs well in an intensive and dynamic environment.
• Goals oriented – meet goals and due dates.
• Team player with good interpersonal relations.
• Languages: English - MANDATORY: Good writing and verbal skills.
  
  

• Knowledge in production processes as: SMT assembly, electro-mechanical assembly.
• Proven experience as project manager with orientation of both operational and engineering area .
• Familiar with transfer to production.
• Working knowledge of SAP.
• Strong collaborative and social skills, and ability to effectively guide and influence within a dynamic, multifaceted environment.
