ABOUT THE JOB
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Marketing Lead to join our go to market team and disrupt the observability market. In this role, you will work closely with our CEO, our Sales leadership and sales team to drive demand and increase customer interest to support our outbound sales strategy. You will be responsible for (1) creating, executing, and optimizing demand generation strategies and (2) designing and creating collateral to enable our sales team to turn qualified leads into pipeline and then customers, for revenue growth for our observability software solutions. Your work will directly contribute to increasing awareness, generating inbound leads, augmenting and accelerating the sales pipeline and creating a massively disruptive market leading company.
ABOUT US
Odigos leverages eBPF technology to create an open-source solution that can automatically generate distributed traces for any application without any engineering work. Developers are struggling with extracting and delivering high-quality monitoring data. Currently, building a pipeline is a manual process that takes months to implement, is an error-prone process that requires tons of code changes across multiple R&D teams, and demands collaboration.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Campaign Planning & Execution: Design, implement, and manage demand generation campaigns, focusing on email marketing, social media, webinars, and other online channels. Tailor campaigns to promote observability software products and services, ensuring alignment with target audience needs and pain points.
- Lead Generation & Nurturing: Develop and execute strategies for lead generation, including lead scoring, segmentation, and nurturing, to drive high-quality leads through the sales funnel. Optimize lead conversion using marketing automation tools.
- Collaboration with Sales & Marketing Teams: Work closely with sales, content, and product teams to align messaging, create compelling offers, and generate content that resonates with prospects and customers. Ensure smooth lead handoff and follow-up processes to maximize conversion.
- Marketing Analytics & Reporting: Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce) to track the performance of campaigns, analyze lead conversion rates, and provide actionable insights. Continuously optimize campaigns based on data-driven insights and A/B testing results.
- SEO & Content Strategy Alignment: Collaborate with the content team to ensure the creation of valuable, SEO-optimized content that attracts the right audience. Help drive organic traffic and build brand awareness through content marketing efforts.
- Customer and Market Insights: Conduct research to understand customer personas, pain points, and industry trends within the observability, monitoring, and DevOps space. Use insights to refine marketing strategies and messaging.
- Event Marketing & Webinars: Plan and manage online events and webinars, driving awareness, engagement, and lead generation opportunities through educational content about observability best practices and software solutions.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Minimum Qualifications
- Belief in outbound sales, desire to work as a teammate together with Sales, to accomplish joint goals of closing customers and increasing pipeline
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally
- 3+ years of experience in demand generation, lead generation, or digital marketing roles, preferably in observability space
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful demand generation campaigns with measurable outcomes
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to optimize and report on campaign performance
- Strong understanding of marketing automation tools or highly motivated willingness to teach oneself (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot) and CRM systems (Salesforce)
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the observability, DevOps, or cloud computing industries
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
