4G/5G Integration Engineer

abra R&D is looking for a skilled 4G/5G Integration Engineer!

• The product consists of advanced distributed cellular base station technology, combining edge computing and radio systems connected via optical infrastructure.
• As an Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration between server-based computing systems and radio units. You'll work across teams to validate new features, troubleshoot integration issues, and maintain system-wide functionality.

Responsibilities:

• Lead integration efforts between edge computing systems and radio units
• Study and maintain detailed knowledge of both system components
• Work with protocol interfaces, including proprietary and standard protocols (e.g., ORAN)
• Coordinate with development teams to implement and validate new features
• Perform system-level integration testing and validation
• Troubleshoot complex integration issues
• Document integration processes and technical specifications
• Occasional field integration work as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or software engineering
• Strong background in 4G and 5G cellular technologies
• Software background and experience in C and C++
• Proven experience in systems integration, particularly in telecommunications
• Experience with cellular protocols and interfaces
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience in laboratory equipment operation
• Proven track record of managing complex integration projects
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
