Network Engineer

What will you do?

In this role, you will manage and maintain the company's communication and information security systems, focusing on advanced solutions while ensuring a high level of security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain firewalls, implement security policies, and manage VPN connections for clients and internal users.
• Operate and maintain routers and switches.
• Manage and maintain load balancers (F5, Alteon) to enhance network performance.
• Operate and manage DDoS protection systems (infrastructure and application-level: WAF, IPS).
• Manage Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) systems.
• Operate communication and information security solutions in the GCP cloud environment.
• Conduct periodic system checks and technology upgrades to ensure optimal security.
• Collaborate closely with IT and information security teams to resolve issues and improve existing systems.

What are we looking for?

• 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer – mandatory
• Hands-on experience with Layer 2/3 networking using routers and switches (Cisco) – mandatory
• Experience operating and maintaining load balancers (F5/Alteon) – mandatory
• Experience with firewalls (CheckPoint, Palo Alto, Fortigate) – mandatory
• High proficiency in communication protocols (BGP, EIGRP, TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, UDP, GRE, IPSEC).
• Experience designing and deploying secure networks in large organizations.
• Experience with remote client connectivity solutions (IPSEC/IPVPN/METRO).
• Experience in architecture documentation (HLD, LLD, RFP, RFI, SOW).
• Hands-on experience with communication and security solutions in GCP cloud environments.
• Proficiency in traffic monitoring and control tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Grafana, Wireshark, Traceroute).
• Ability to work in dynamic, high-pressure environments within diverse technology teams.
• Experience managing and maintaining SSL/TLS certificates in organizational environments – significant advantage
• Scripting experience (Python, Bash, Ansible) – significant advantage
• Relevant networking certifications (CCNP, NSE4-6, CCSA/CCSE, F5-CA, F5-CTS) – advantage
