AI Solutions & Operations Engineer

About the Role

At ai.work, we are redefining internal service and operations with an Agentic AI-first automation platform. As we scale, we need a hands-on AI solutions who can drive both customer implementations and internal AI operations. This role blends solution engineering, AI implementation, and reimagining AI-driven operations - ensuring our customers leverage AI agents effectively while also reimagining how ai.work itself operates with AI-driven efficiency.

As the AI Solutions & Operations Engineer, you’ll be responsible for both customer-facing AI solutions (pre-sales POCs, implementations, integrations, and workflow designs) and internal AI implementation across new and growing departments (Marketing, CS, Sales, HR, etc.). You will work closely with Product, Sales, and the CEO to drive AI adoption both externally and internally, ensuring we practice what we preach by running ai.work with AI-first principles. You will be the ai.work expert and will lead the future of work with game changing AI implementations at scale.

• Partner with customers to design, configure, and implement Agentic workflows with ai.work that integrate with their existing tools and processes.
• Define AI agent behaviors, automation logic, and API integrations for seamless customer implementations.
• Create AI Agent templates and best practices that can be reused across multiple customers.
• Support pre-sales by building custom demos and POCs, showcasing ai.work’s ability to streamline internal service operations.
• Act as a liaison between customers and product, ensuring real-world insights shape the product roadmap.
  

• Lead the internal implementation of ai.work and additional AI Agents, working with the CEO and Product team to implement AI-driven solutions across departments.
• Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, HR, and CS to design and deploy AI-powered systems that boost productivity and efficiency and shape the future org structure of the company as it grows.
• Identify AI-first opportunities to streamline internal processes, from automating sales workflows to enhancing employee support.
• Define and maintain best practices for AI-driven operations for ai.work and customers. Be the #1 expert in deploying and scaling AI operations.
  

• 3+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, AI Implementation, Business Operations, or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with AI-driven automation, APIs, workflow tools, and integrations.
• Passion for rethinking how organizations can run with AI-first principles.
• A deep familiarity of SaaS, AI copilots, and enterprise automation.
• Strong ability to translate business needs into Agentic workflows and implementations.
• Comfortable working with both customers and internal teams.
• Enthusiasm for thriving in a fast-paced, innovative startup environment
• Experience with tools like ServiceNow, Zapier, UiPath and enterprise automation platforms is a plus.
• Experience with configuring AI tools like Custom GPTs, automation workflows with AI, or any other AI agent platforms is an advantage.
