Data Engineer

A data-focused startup is developing a cloud-based platform that enables marketing and sales professionals worldwide to share business insights and gain valuable customer intelligence.

The platform also provides AI-driven recommendations for potential clients and organizations, streamlining and optimizing the business data collection process, allowing sales teams to focus on closing deals.

Headquartered in Tel Aviv near a train line, the company operates a hybrid model with two remote workdays per week. It has 300 employees, with offices in both Tel Aviv and Boston.

The company has raised $205 million in a Series B round at a $1.5 billion valuation, achieving unicorn status.

The role involves working as part of a team, developing in Python, with required experience in Spark and Airflow.

Tech stack: NoSQL databases, Spark, Kafka, Athena, Elasticsearch, Airflow, Kubernetes, Docker.

Qualifications-

• 2+ years' experience in designing and implementing server-side Data solutions.
• 3+ years programming experience, preferably in Python and SQL.
• Experience implementing algorithmic solutions, data mining, and analytical methodologies.
• Able to use orchestration frameworks such as Airflow, Kubernetes, and Docker Swarm.
• Experience with Data Lake, Spark - Advantage.
• Familiarity with AWS ecosystem - Advantage.
• Familiarity with the following tools: Kafka, DataBricks, Jenkins - advantage.
• Experience working with various database engines (relational, document storage, key-value, time series) - ElasticSearch, Redis, Postgres, MySQL
