Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

We are looking for a hands-on Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technical vision and execution as we scale.

Role Overview: As the CTO, you will be responsible for setting and executing the company's technical strategy, ensuring the development and deployment of high-performance systems. You will lead the engineering team while remaining hands-on with development, architecture, and infrastructure decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the technology roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and scale the engineering team.
• Architect and develop high-performance, scalable, and secure systems.
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance, particularly with real-time data processing.
• Oversee cloud infrastructure on AWS and ensure best practices in deployment and security.
• Work closely with product, data, and business teams to drive innovation and efficiency.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong expertise in Node.js, Python, RabbitMQ, Redis, and AWS services.
• Strong expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience designing and optimizing distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of real-time data processing and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Computer Science degree from a reputable university.
• Love for sport, understanding of the sports rules of at least Football, Basketball and Tennis.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with machine learning or predictive analytics.
