Mobile Engineer

A private company in the OTT field develops a Cloud-based product that enables seamless access to streaming services while providing a personalized viewing experience for users.

The company has over 50 employees in Israel and is experiencing significant technological growth. It is located in Herzliya near a train station, offering a hybrid work model with two work-from-home days per week.

Globally, the company has 2,500 employees, with 50 based in Israel.

The company was acquired by a major British broadcasting corporation specializing in sports content.

Role Overview-

• Join a global team of 9 members, including Android developers and testers.
• Report to a Team Lead based in Israel.
• Requires a high level of English proficiency.
• Development is done in Kotlin.

Requirements-

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 4 years of experience in Android Kotlin/Java development.
• At least one app in Google Play.
• Experience with RxJava /RxKotlin development.
• Understanding of design patterns and architectures.
• Extensive knowledge in UI/UX development.
• Understanding of server-client fundamentals.
• Understanding of multithreading.
• Experience in dependency injection (DI) methodology.
• Experience in writing unit tests.
• Conduct design and code reviews.
• Strong analytical skills.
