DevOps Manager

A global company in the Web Cyber Security field develops products that protect large websites from modern attacks. They specialize in detecting bot attacks, account takeovers, and protecting JS libraries. Currently, the company secures the largest internet systems in the world.

The company is located in Tel Aviv near a train station, offering a hybrid work model with up to 3 days working from home. It has about 90 employees in Israel and 400 employees globally, with offices in the U.S. and Tel Aviv.

The Israeli office is primarily focused on research and development, working at very high scales with advanced technologies. The company fosters a startup-like atmosphere and places a strong emphasis on career growth and employee well-being.

Role Overview:

• Manage a team of 5 employees, consisting of 2 existing team members and 3 new hires to be recruited.
• Initially, the role will involve a high percentage of hands-on work, which will decrease as the team expands.
• The team will be responsible for designing the architecture of big-scale infrastructure, including rebuilding the existing Kafka infrastructure.
• Tech stack: Kafka, ElasticSearch, Redis, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP.

Requirements-

• 2 years of experience as a DevOps or Engineering team lead.
• 5 years of experience as a hand-on DevOps engineer.
• Proven record leading the design and implementation of big scale infrastructure.
• Proven experience with data infrastructure: Kafka, ElasticSearch, Redis, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
• Masterful organizational, communication, and leadership skills, backed by previous professional success.
