Head of Rocket Motor & Warhead Development

We are seeking an experienced Head of Rocket Motor & Warhead Development to lead a team of engineers in propulsion, explosives, and mechanical systems. This role is pivotal in shaping cutting-edge military-grade propulsion and warhead technologies while fostering an innovative and high-performing environment.

What you’ll be doing

• :Managing and mentoring a team of engineers across propulsion, explosives, and mechanical disciplines
• .Leading complex engineering processes, influencing the design and execution of advanced defense projects
• .Developing and implementing energetic materials, rocket motors, and warheads for military applications in both offensive and defensive systems
• .Overseeing multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality compliance
• .Driving continuous improvement initiatives, and providing professional guidance to engineering teams
• .Conducting risk management and implementing innovative solutions to mitigate design and execution challenges
• .Operating in high-pressure environments, making real-time decisions under evolving conditions
• .Shaping strategic processes and improving work methodologies through cross-functional teamwork
• .Collaborating with internal departments, external partners, and clients to deliver tailored engineering solutions
• .Reporting to the Head of the Mechanical Directorate within the Engineering & Systems Division

What we’re looking fo

r:Mandatory Requirements (must-haves)

• -Israeli citizenship – Require
• d.B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or Aerodynamics – Require
• d.10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering – Require
• d.Experience managing teams (5+ people) – Require
• d.Proven expertise in leading propulsion and/or explosives technology projects – Require
• d.At least 3 years of hands-on experience in rocket motor and/or warhead developmen
