Security Researcher

A Cybersecurity startup developing defensive Browser Security that enables safe browsing for enterprise users. Their patent-protected software injects a JavaScript agent directly into the browser, running in the background to provide real-time protection.

The product identifies and prevents attacks originating from web activity, which is one of the largest attack vectors worldwide.

This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing company that has just raised a $29M Series A from leading VCs. Founded in 2020, they already have 50+ paying customers in production.

The company is based in Tel Aviv (near a light rail station), operates a hybrid model with two remote workdays, and has 50 employees globally, including 30 in Israel.

Responsibilities include-

• Web research across customer data and the security engine
• Phishing analysis and attack detection
• Running POCs and deriving insights for product direction
• Conducting Reverse Engineering
• Writing code in JavaScript

Requirements-

• 5 years in security research, vulnerability analysis, or a related field
• Researching or securing web technologies, browser extensions and plugins
• Discovering vulnerabilities leading to CVEs
• Deep understanding of web technologies, browser internals, and JavaScript
• Proficiency in reverse engineering and debugging tools
• Familiarity with exploit development and mitigation techniques (ASLR, DEP, etc.)
• Experience with modern web application architectures and frameworks
• Understanding of network security and common protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, etc.)
• Web technologies, malware analysis
• Skilled in scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, or Bash
• Experience with tools such as Burp Suite, IDA Pro, Ghidra, or similar
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
