ABAP Developer

A leading defense technology company is looking for an experienced ABAP Developer to join a top-tier Information Systems team for a challenging role in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Location: Haifa or Rehovot.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, upgrade, and maintain SAP applications in the ABAP environment with a focus on HR modules, including reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms.
• Develop ETL processes for data migration between systems, build complex integrations, and improve enterprise system connectivity.
• Analyze issues, provide technological solutions, and optimize SAP system performance, working closely with infrastructure and application teams.
• Collaborate with HR and IT teams to understand business needs, translate them into technological solutions, and implement them effectively in the system.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Industrial Engineering and Management.
• 3+ years of experience in ABAP development.
• Hands-on experience with SQL/PLSQL – mandatory.
• Knowledge of ETL tools – an advantage.
• Ability to self-learn and adapt to new technologies.
• A proactive mindset with a system-wide perspective.
