About the Role

Your Mission

• Preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy, compliance with accounting standards, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals.
• Provide professional guidance and assistance for the bookkeeping staff
• Corporate accounting - monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
• Oversee vendor payment cycles.
• Work closely with bookkeepers and assistant controllers. Support and advise them on accounting and tax-related matters.
• Projects-oriented and improving processes

Requirements

• 2-3 years in a controller or assistant controller role, preferably in a high-tech or startup environment.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Highly analytical, accurate, and detail-oriented with strong professional judgment.
• Motivated and committed to continuous improvement.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in ERP systems (Priority, NetSuite)
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with audits and financial systems integration (preferred).
• Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
