Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in Kubernetes, CI/CD, security best practices, resiliency, and cloud-native scaling. You’ll use tools like ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, and Kustomize to automate and streamline deployments. This role starts as a contract position and has the potential to transition into a permanent role based on performance and company needs.

Responsibilities

Kubernetes Expertise

• Design, implement, and maintain Kubernetes clusters on GKE.
• Manage networking, security policies, and resource allocation.
• Troubleshoot Kubernetes-related issues in high-traffic environments.

CI/CD Implementation

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using top industry tools.
• Automate code deployment, testing, and release processes.

Security & Resiliency

• Integrate security practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure system stability.

Scaling & Performance

• Create and manage scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Perform capacity planning and optimize performance.

Autonomy & Collaboration

• Coordinate with the team to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Communicate technical issues clearly and manage tasks independently.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years in a DevOps role in a startup or fast-paced environment.
• Strong expertise with Kubernetes at scale (GKE preferred).
• Proven experience in CI/CD and working with ArgoCD, Kustomize, and GitHub Actions.
• Strong understanding of security best practices (network policies, secrets management, container security).
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and a proactive mindset.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
