Software Engineer (C#.NET)

Role Description

The strongest candidates will have solid development, systems, and automation expertise, working in a full stack environment, and demonstrated software development experience building fault-tolerant applications at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work through all phases of the software development life cycle, including research, design, analysis, requirements, implementation, test automation, and maintenance of: NET Backend services, Winforms applications and Web applications.
• Collaborate with product managers to refine requirements, analyze, design and create solutions that target defined business needs.
• Write and test code, documenting and implementing functionally appropriate, technically sound, and well-integrated application systems.
• Maintain existing programs by fixing bugs or clearing up operational deficiencies.
• Assure program, module and system integrity through thorough testing.
• Utilize new technologies and tools to enhance applications.
• Provide guidance to less experienced team members to ensure knowledge transfer and training are successfully meeting department goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with the .NET web technology stack (C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET core) required
• Bachelor’s degree in either Computer Science or Software Engineering, comparable work experience can be substituted.
• Experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server required.
• Experience with .NET core. Highly desired
• Hands-on experience with .NET Framework Webforms and Winforms.
• Experience with object-relational mapper such as Dapper, Entity Framework. Highly desired
• Familiarity with unit testing, agile methodologies, and version control (Git/TFS).
• Hands-on experience with .NET Framework Webforms and Winforms.
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with building and consuming REST APIs.
• Technological orientation with the ability to improve existing processes.

Advantage:

• Working experience with web technologies including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular will be an advantage
