Beginner English Teacher

Position Overview: 

We’re seeking an English Teacher to help adult learners improve their language skills, enabling them to pursue educational, personal, and professional goals. This role involves creating an engaging, inclusive classroom that fosters growth and confidence in English language proficiency. A classroom, curriculum and all materials, as well as training will be provided to the teacher.

ILS ₪75/hour

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate class two days per week from 7-9pm.
• Teach English to adult learners, following a provided curriculum for their learning level. 
• Adapt teaching methods to suit students.
• Review and practice class content as needed with students. 
• Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and additional support when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Relevant academic study or background. 
• Teaching or tutoring experience.
• Strong English communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in simple, accessible terms.
• Patience, empathy, and cultural sensitivity to work effectively with students from various backgrounds.
