Senior Manager, Accounting

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Senior Manager, Accounting to join our finance team. This role is essential in overseeing accounting operations, driving process improvements, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating across teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with a deep understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.

• Accounting Operations & Financial Reporting
  
  

Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and local regulations.

Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring timely and high-quality financial reporting.

Monitor and analyze accounting data, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements.

Ensure proper reconciliation of intercompany balances and consolidation reporting to the parent company.

Prepare statutory financial and tax reports, ensuring compliance with local regulations and tax authorities.

Serve as the key liaison for external auditors, managing audit requests and ensuring smooth audit processes.

Research and analyze complex accounting and financial issues, providing guidance on best practices and compliance.

Maintain and enhance accounting policies and internal controls to align with regulatory requirements.

• Compliance & Internal Controls
  
  

Execute and oversee key internal controls, ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and other relevant financial regulations.

Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting processes.

Maintain and document detailed accounting records in accordance with legal, regulatory, and audit requirements.

Review and maintain controls over payroll processing and related accounting activities.

• Process Improvement & System Implementation
  
  

Play a key role in the implementation and optimization of NetSuite, including configuration, testing, and adoption.

Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Champion continuous improvement initiatives, driving scalability and best-in-class financial operations.

• Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
  
  

Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing financial insights and strategic recommendations.

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, tax, legal, and operations, to support decision-making and ensure alignment.

Act as a financial focal point for reporting, analysis, and process improvements across the finance department.

Communicate effectively with employees, executives, and external service providers to address inquiries and provide financial guidance.

Develop and deliver training programs or materials to educate employees on accounting policies, procedures, and best practices.

What You'll Need

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field required. Advanced degrees in similar fields desirable. Professional accounting certification like CPA required.

Experience: 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a publicly traded, multinational, or high-growth tech company.

Technical Expertise:

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and financial compliance regulations.
• Experience with SOX compliance, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Hands-on experience in ERP systems (NetSuite preferred), financial reporting tools, and automation solutions.
