Job Description:

A. Responsibility for setting up the department's laboratories according to the instructions of the department head.

B. Responsibility for the construction, management, and maintenance of laboratory equipment in the department.

C. Coordination of laboratory needs with the department head.

D. Responsibility for assisting with student projects and faculty research in terms of equipment and resources.

E. Budget tracking within areas of responsibility and activity.

F. Participation in a team for planning and implementing facilities in the department's laboratories.

G. Responsibility for the operation and proper functioning of laboratory equipment.

H. Responsibility for safety procedures within the scope of the role, in accordance with legal requirements.

I. Performing tasks as instructed by the supervisor.

J. Reporting to: Department Head.

Job Requirements: A. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering/Building Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Earth and Environmental Sciences. A Master's degree is preferable.

B. Two years of experience in relevant fields.

C. Experience in maintaining and operating laboratory equipment and instruments.

D. Experience in training is preferable.

E. Proficiency in English is preferable.

Scope: Full-time, temporary position to fill in for a vacancy.

תיאור התפקיד:

א. אחריות להקמתן של מעבדות המחלקה לפי הנחיות ראש המחלקה.

ב. אחריות לבניה ניהול ותחזוקה של ציוד מעבדות המחלקה.

ג. תיאום צורכי המעבדות עם ראש המחלקה.

ד. אחריות לביצוע וסיוע בפרויקטים לסטודנטים ומחקר לחברי הסגל מבחינת ציוד ואמצעים.

ה. ביצוע מעקב תקציבי בתחומי אחריותו ופעילותו.

ו. השתתפות בצוות תכנון וביצוע מתקנים במעבדות המחלקה .

ז. אחריות לתפעול ותקינות הציוד במעבדות המחלקה.

ח. אחריות על סדרי הבטיחות במסגרת פעילותו, בהתאם לדרישות החוק.

ט. ביצוע מטלות בהתאם להנחיות הממונה.

י. כפיפות: ראש המחלקה.

דרישות התפקיד:

א. תואר ראשון בהנדסת בניין/אזרחית או בהנדסת חומרים או בהנדסת מכונות או במדעי כדור הארץ והסביבה, רצוי- תואר שני.

ב. ניסיון של שנתיים בתחומים רלוונטיים.

ג. ניסיון עבודה בתחזוקה והפעלת ציוד ומכשור מעבדתי.

ד. רצוי- ניסיון בהדרכה.

ה. רצוי- שליטה בשפה האנגלית ברמה טובה.
