With investments in our people, technology and new business markets, we are redefining the role and purpose of a credit bureau.The role will be responsible for managing Transunion CIBIL’s terms with partnering banks. S/he will ensure adherence to set policies and procedures and lead the team to achieve departmental goalsWhat You'll Bring:Roles & Responsibilities:Work closely with the functional and business leads for month end closure and accounting processPreparation and analysis of monthly/ quarterly financialsMaintenance of fixed asset registerEnsure timely payouts of the invoices (capex & Opex)Handle forex payout to vendors and related partiesManaging data requirement for forex payoutsEnsure accurate accounting of GST and TDS and preparation of relevant monthly schedulesTimely filing of monthly GST and quarterly TDS returns and other statutory compliancesPreparing reconciliations for GST input tax credit and Input tax credit register including reverse chargeResponsible for existence of proper internal controls and ensuring timely statutory, SOX & internal auditsCollaborate with various internal units for process integration; ensure adherence to quality standardsOversee the preparation of bank reconciliation statement, profit & loss statement, and various accounting reports to propose to the managementAssist in implementation of department wide best practices and ensure adherence to sameManage, organize and control departmental activities with respects to payments received internationallyBuild and maintain strong relations with partnering banks; leverage the relations to achieve Transunion CIBIL’s growth targetsImpact You'll Make:Experience and Other Skills:· Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance / Business or any related stream.· Minimum 4 - 5 years of experience in process handlingOther Skills / Competencies Required:· Positive attitude and eye for detail· Working knowledge of taxation area w.r.t GST & TDS· Working knowledge of Companies Act, 2013· Ability to articulate issues well, in simple and concise language· Sharp mind w.r.t numbers· Ability to go behind variance numbers and determine core issues / root causes· Good communication skills, including writing business mails· Strong collaborative nature; while also being able to ensure getting things done on time· Lots of energy and passion for work execution and doing things in a better way· Willingness to learn and grow within Finance team, by observing other areas· Working knowledge of MS Office, i.e; Word, Excel, Power Point and OutlookInnovative in bringing new automations with the respective areas & analytical skillsThis is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.TransUnion Job TitleSpecialist I, Accounting
