Job description for System Integrator

Summary of responsibilities

• Characterization and integration of new components on existing platforms
• Responsible for assembling components, preparing test plans, and supporting testing and validation of products.
• Planning, designing, and developing electronic parts, components, integrated circuitry, mechanical systems, equipment and packaging, optical and/or DSP systems.
• Designs, develops, modifies, and integrates computer-controlled electronic and mechanical systems to automate industrial tasks and enhance manufacturing equipment.
• Applying advanced electronic control systems, designing, and assisting in manufacturing consumer products and developing new electro-mechanical concepts for new product lines.
• Identifying, analyzing, and resolving system design weaknesses.
• Leading the Alpha and Beta tool integration process, optimizing tool configurations.
• Preparing PRDs and leading design reviews.
• Transferring to production: developing and documenting calibration and alignment processes, preparing tool’s characterization test plans, developing test jigs, training Tech-Support engineers and production teams.
• Support and maintenance of in-house systems.
• Supporting field tools’ troubleshooting.

Qualifications

Educational / Experience Requirements:

• Practical Engineer diploma or higher.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in commissioning / integrating large systems (Medical, Semiconductors, Etc.).
• Advantage:

-Experience in Semiconductors industry.

-Experience with optical systems.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Good technical skills, and ability to understand and maintain large multidisciplinary systems.

-Good understanding of motion control and accurate motion.

-Advantage: Knowledge of TwinCAT / VHDL or similar.

• Must be a self-starter able to work independently as well as part of a small team on challenging problems .
• Talented, motivated, self-driven.
• Possesses the ability to lead complex projects from start to finish, from concept, through design reviews to a full release.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills (English and Hebrew) .

-Communicate clearly and concisely (English), including mathematical descriptions without omitting details.
