Network and Information Security Specialist

Job Description:

• Implementation and maintenance of cross-organizational projects in the field of networking and information security.
• Responsibility for systems, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of communication and security products.
• Upgrading and ongoing operation of all existing security and network systems.
• Enforcing information security policies, granting approvals and permissions for employees on a regular basis.
• Work distribution: 70% networking and 30% information security.
• Supporting project environments and defense technology (weaponry systems).
• Office-based work with field visits and potential international travel.

Job Requirements:

• Certifications in information security (CISSP, CISM, CISO) and networking courses (CCNA, CCNP) – a significant advantage.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in information security and network systems within enterprise/mid-size organizations – required.
• At least 2 years of experience in setup and ongoing maintenance of security products such as CHECKPOINT, FORTINET – required.
• Knowledge and familiarity with networking and security technologies such as IPS, SSL, NAC, NMS, and VPN setup – required.
• Experience in designing and establishing L2 & L3 network infrastructure – required.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco equipment, with an advantage for familiarity with Juniper switches.
