Business Engagement Manager

The role of Business Engagement Manager (BEM) for Aristocrat Interactive is a technical business-minded information technology professional who partners with various organizations within the Interactive Business Unit to create, maintain, and execute the Interactive IT Roadmap. This position will additionally manage IT Projects and direct organizational change management activities as required. The candidate requires experience and expertise in managing people, processes, applications, infrastructure, and IT strategic initiatives.

The Interactive BEM builds strong, collaborative relationships with executive business stakeholders and IT delivery leaders, to create technology strategies, maintain a project request pipeline, and generate Quarterly, Yearly, and Multi-Year roadmaps. Furthermore, the candidate must possess expert skills in translating demand into IT Supply by leading the IT project governance processes for Ideation and Elaboration. During Ideation, the BEM will direct Business Engagement functions to create Idea documents, Business Cases, Value Plans, and IT and Business Engagement Plans. During Elaboration, the BEM will act as the IT Product Owner, leading the creation of requirements, and process flows. Furthermore, the candidate must be able to drive value optimization, continuous improvements, and effective organizational change management.

What You'll Do

• Understand and articulate the Interactive Business Strategy and technology needs to all areas of IT.
• Understand and articulate the IT governance/management process, IT organization, and the IT roadmap to all areas within the Interactive Business Unit
• Build trusted relationships within IT and the Interactive Business Unit to ensure clear project objectives, collaborative delivery, and shared accountability.
• Partner with business leadership to plan new joint initiatives, evaluate proposals, and develop creative solutions where high levels of complexity and uncertainty exist.
• Deliver high-impact executive-level presentations on project, portfolio, and roadmap status.
• Manage the quarterly, Fiscal Year, and Multi-Year Roadmaps in an environment of constant change and growing demand based on a combination of risk profiles, benefit statements, strategic alignment, and capacity/demand planning.
• Drive effective portfolio management including regular operations reviews and steering committees.
• Maximize value delivered by developing and maintaining IT Product Backlogs, ensuring they remain aligned with customer and stakeholder needs.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred in computer science, project management, engineering, or related project management undergraduate course of study; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Technical knowledge related to cloud infrastructure, architecture, and best practices.
• PMP, development, and IT Operations certifications preferred.
• Minimum of fifteen (15) years of Information Technology and Cybersecurity experience.
• Experience creating, managing, tracking, and reporting on yearly and multi-year roadmaps.
• Strong experience managing projects and initiatives across the globe.
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to deal with ambiguity, and remain effective and positive under pressure.
• Located in Israel with ability to work flexible hours with stakeholders located across multiple time zones.
