About the role:

We are looking for a Python Infrastructure Team Lead to drive the development and scalability of our core infrastructure. This role is ideal for an experienced Python engineer with deep expertise in backend architecture, infrastructure automation, and production environments, combined with strong leadership and project management skills.

What you'll do:

• Lead the development and optimization of backend infrastructure, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with backend, DevOps, and data teams to design and implement robust infrastructure solutions.
• Drive best practices in code quality, automation, observability, and deployment strategies.
• Mentor and coach team members to enhance technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Ensure high availability and efficient resource utilization across distributed systems.
  
  

• Proven experience leading a team of developers and managing technical projects.
• 7+ years of Python development experience, with expertise in designing scalable backend systems.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC), automation, and cloud-native environments.
• Experience working with containerized environments (Docker, ECS, Kubernetes).
• Deep understanding of performance tuning, observability, and distributed systems.
  
  

• Experience with Django, FastAPI, or Flask for backend development.
• Proficiency in monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry).
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services, including ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, and API Gateway.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and experience with tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or ArgoCD.
• Experience with data streaming and batch processing solutions
