We are looking for a VP of Research & Development (VPR&D) to lead our technological vision, scale our engineering teams, and drive innovation in cloud efficiency and scale. Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute CloudHiro’s R&D strategy, ensuring alignment with business and product goals.
• Lead and grow a world-class R&D team, fostering a culture of innovation, agility, and excellence.
• Drive the development of the most comprehensive cloud optimization solutions, leveraging automation and predictive analytics.
• Stay ahead by identifying and integrating emerging cloud technologies, architectures, and best practices, using multiple languages and technologies.
• Collaborate closely with product, sales, and customer success teams to translate market needs into cutting-edge solutions.
• Manage R&D budgets, timelines, and resources to maximize efficiency and technological impact.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in software development and R&D leadership roles.
• Proven expertise in cloud technologies, DevOps, FinOps, or infrastructure optimization.
• Deep technical knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, and modern cloud architectures.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML for cloud automation is a strong advantage.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and scaling high-performing engineering teams.
• Strategic mindset with a passion for solving complex cloud challenges through innovation.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
